Our head office is based in Mussoorie, a day's journey north of New Delhi. In India we are registered as 'Trek Himalaya Tours Pvt. Ltd' operated by Neelambar Badoni. There are also options that can be arranged locally from Mussoorie to suit one's own itinerary while in India. The following are examples of some of these destinations - optional treks. Specialized mountaineering trips in Garhwal Himalaya can also be arranged with all supplies, support crew and transport. BOOKING INFORMATION:

All tours can be booked through our overseas office in Vancouver , Canada or in India at our head office in Mussoorie. Contact our Canadian office for direct referral to our head office. A deposit of $100 USD can be made to secure your booking with our overseas office, with final payment required by August 1, 2001 (payable to Trek India Himalaya Tours); if in India, full payment to Trek Himalaya Tours is required prior to tour departure.

Upon confirmed booking an information package with final details such as our pre-trip checklist etc. will be sent to you.

Please read the following terms and conditions. The acceptance of booking shall be deemed to be consent to the 'Terms And Conditions' as outlined below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

PAYMENT: Overseas-payable to Trek India Himalaya Tours, India-payable to Trek Himalaya Tours.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: We strongly recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance. The policy should cover reimbursement up to the amount of insurance purchased of the cost of your return economy air fare if you are prevented from departing, or unable to complete the tour because of jury duty, accident, sickness etc. to yourself or someone in your family.

MEDICAL INSURANCE: It is your responsibility to ensure your own medical coverage and cover any additional personal medical expenses if they become necessary.

PASSPORT AND VISA: You must have a valid passport and ensure it will not expire while in India. You also need to secure an Indian visa according to requirements set by the Government of India dependent on your nationality.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: On most economy class international flights there is a baggage allowance of up to two bags (including one carry on) with combined overall dimension not to exceed 106 inches and no bag may exceed 62 inches. It is best to check with your carrier. No responsibility is incurred for loss, theft or damage to baggage or any passenger's belongings. It is recommended to carry baggage insurance.

RESPONSIBILITY: The operator of the tour and or suppliers of service only act as agents for the clients in regards to travel, whether by plane, road, rail or trekking, and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect in any vehicle or any reason whatsoever or through the acts of default of any company or persons engaged in conveying the clients or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. They can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the air or other services or causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be taken care of by the member of the tour. The right is reserved to make minor adjustments to the itinerary and to cancel any tour prior to departure in which case full refund (minus 2% service charge) will constitute full settlement for the client. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour.
