This trek covers the trail local garhwalis used while pilgrimage to the famous shrines of Kedarnath and Gangotri.

We drive from Delhi to the city of saints Rishikesh for night halt. We drive further along the banks of Ganges and river mandakini for sonprayag. From here our hike starts for Kedarnath, a shiva temple built by the great saint and philosopher Shankaracharya. We trek further upto a smalf lake 'Gandhi Sarovar' and then back to Sonprayag from where we trek to the village of 'Trijuginarayan' famous for its magnificient temple as the legend goes that Lord Shiva married goddess Parvati at this place. We continue further through beautiful alpine meadows at 13000ft, getting the best view possible of the Greater Himalayas including Mt. Nanda Devi. Our' traverse trek takes us toGangotri . from where we trek to the snout of Gaumukh, source of river Ganges. On our way back to Delhi we stay for a day in the old British hill station of Mussoorie.
